Israel, Nigeria to collaborate on cyber security

Israel and Nigeria are considering ways of partnership in tackling Cyber-crimes and providing Home Land Security in the country.
The two countries, at a Sensitization Dinner on Thursday in Abuja, while highlighting the dangers of cyber-crime to all sectors, agreed to work together to fight it.
Speaking at the occasion, Nigeria’s Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau noted that the problem of cyber security will continue to be a major focus of nations around which collaboration is inevitable.
Dambazau who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Brigadier-General Bala Saleh, said Nigeria will benefit from Israel’s technical advancement in security.

On his part, the Israeli ambassador to Nigeria, Guy Feldman, said Nigeria can turn her present challenges into stepping stones to greater heights.
Feldman, who noted that homeland security and cyber security were the future, assured that Israel will tap into her experience and expertise to assist Nigeria.
